RCC Regional Preparatory Meeting held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on April 12-14
The RCC Regional Preparatory Meeting was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on April 12-14, 2016. It is organized by the ITU in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the RCC Executive Committee.
The Regional Preparatory Meeting was attended by representatives of the Communications Administrations and telecom operators from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the RCC Executive Committee, the ITU.
WTSA-16 Regional Preparatory Meeting for CIS member states aimed at coordination of CIS member-states' positions on the issues of particular importance at WTSA-16, which will be held in October in Tunisia. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the RCC Common Proposals to WTSA-16, based on proposals submitted by the RCC Communications Administrations.
